The future of career education is waiting for you.

Stride Academy helps people with no tech background start a career in tech, with live classes and mentors who work in the field. No tech degree required.

About Stride

Why I started Stride

I've loved mentoring people since high school. When I found my own way into tech, I realized how hard it could be to know where to start or whose advice to trust. I founded Stride to help people make sense of it all and see a path into tech for themselves.

Stride is built for people with no tech background, training or knowledge. You might be starting from scratch or changing direction after years in another field. Wherever you're starting from, there's room for you here. Stride has already helped hundreds of people find jobs in tech.

Where traditional education can fall short

  • Lessons don't always keep up with how people work today.
  • Tutors may know the theory but have little recent experience working in the field.
  • Campus commutes and class schedules can be hard to fit around work and family.
  • A degree can take years, which is a long wait when you're ready for a change.
  • Some courses end with a certificate, leaving you to figure out the job search on your own.
  • The cost can leave you wondering whether it's worth taking on the debt.

I know how it feels to be unsure where to start, or to wonder if you belong. I want Stride to help you take that first step.

Our services

Training and mentorship for your tech career

A structured, phase-by-phase program that takes you from fundamentals to your first role, with support that continues after you're hired.

Phase 1

Foundations

You'll build the basics that help you make sense of everything that comes next. You'll learn how software projects run from start to finish, along with technical writing, diagramming and analysis.

Phase 2

Modern Methods

Building on your foundations, you'll learn more advanced ways to manage software projects and make sense of data architecture, data analysis and AI. These skills help you prepare for what employers are looking for today.

Phase 3

Preflight Check

Before takeoff, you'll take stock of your skills and build your professional profile. You'll explore where you could be competitive and plan how to approach the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Phase 4

Your Job Search

You'll get help building a LinkedIn profile and a resume that clearly shows your skills, knowledge and experience. With interview strategies and mock interviews, you'll practice talking about what you can bring to a role.

Phase 5

On-the-Job Mentorship

Once you're hired, your mentors stay available for one-on-one check-ins. As you find your feet in a new role, these conversations give you guidance to get off to a strong start and build a solid career.

Always
